JL on a bridge during a walk downtown.

The stone bridge has a distinctive sculpted support.

Note that cars park at the edge of the canals. The short "bannister" keeps the cars from rolling into the canals, a once frequent occurrence.

A tour boat passes under the bridge on which I stood.

Elaborate brick work is everywhere.

Close view of previous building.

A horse drawn carriage.

The same carriage I saw two pictures ago.

We begin a boat ride through the canals of Amsterdam.

Morning paper and coffee on your houseboat.

An elaborate building hidden behind obstical.

Another bridge design.

A cafe.

An elaborately decorated building.

The famous Rijksmuseum is undergoing major renovation. Highlights of the collection are concentrated in one wing and are on display.
